How to know when LHDN MyTax Portal is having issues
Introduction
This article covers the error code below which is most commonly seen when the MyTax Portal is experiencing issues:
Determine the specific issue causing the error message:
Navigate to the document with the error
Scroll to the "related lists" table at the bottom of the document page
Locate and copy the link provided in the error code
If the link brings you to a document page that says the document is "submitted", it means the LHDN system is currently slow,
solution: wait for a couple hours and check the status in MyTax Portal again
if document is valid: resubmit the document in Zoho to receive public link.
if document is invalid: check reason and carry on with relevant solution.
If the link does not bring you directly to a specific document,
check if LHDN is under maintenance , if it is, try again in a couple of hours as normal
check the "submissions" tab
if document is not present, LHDN system is down, try again in a couple of hours as normal
