How to Submit a Credit Note and Refund Note to LHDN

How to Submit a Credit Note LHDN
Method 1
Invoice > Credit Note > Refund Note
Open the invoice you want to Credit Note, click on the 3-dot menu icon in the toolbar above the Invoice.
From the drop down select "Create Credit Note".
Select "Create Credit Note".Confirm that this is the Invoice you will create a Credit Note on, then click the "Ok" button.
Click the "Ok" buttonUpon the Credit Note generation, ensure all details are correct, then click the "Save" button.
Click the "Save" buttonNext, record the Credit Note in the MyInvois portal by clicking the "Push to MyInvois" button.
Click the "Push to MyInvois"On the pop-up select the "Proceed" button and wait for it the "E-invoice success" notice, then close the pop-up.

Method 2
Create a standalone credit note not linked to any invoice.
From the "Credit Notes" page, found in the left navigation menu under "Sales", click the "+" symbol or "new" to create new Credit Note.
Upon the Credit Note generation, ensure all details are correct, then click the "Save" button.
Click the "Save" buttonNext, record the Credit Note in the MyInvois portal by clicking the "Push to MyInvois" button.
Click the "Push to MyInvois"On the pop-up select the "Proceed" button and wait for it the "E-invoice success" notice, then close the pop-up.
Select the "Proceed" button and wait- Complete!
Creating a Refund note
Next, to refund the credit note first expand the "Credits Applied" section of an invoice, and delete the Credit Note by clicking the trash can / delete icon.
Delete the Credit NoteThen click the "Ok" button on the confirmation pop-up.
Click the "Ok" buttonNext, on the left navigation menu under "Sales", head to the "Credit Notes" page. The Credit Note that you just deleted from the Invoice earlier will be there with an "Open" status. Click the Credit Note to open.
Select the Credit Note with the "Open" statusOn the toolbar above the Credit Note click on the 3-dot menu icon and select "Refund" on the dropdown menu.
Select "Refund"Fill up the reason for the Refund in the Description box, and ensure all other details are in order before clicking the "Save" button.
Click "Save" once all details are filled upNext, you will need to push this updated Credit Note to MyInvois portal by clicking the "Push to MyInvois" button and wait for it the "E-invoice success" notice, then close the pop-up.
Click "Push to MyInvois" button to update the credit note first.Lastly, click "Push to MyInvois" one more time to record the Refund Note in the MyInvois portal. Upon completion you will receive a successful Refund Note notice which you can close to complete this process.
Close the the pop-up to complete the Refund Note update
