How to Submit an Invoice to LHDN

Introduction

Learn how to seamlessly submit your invoices to the LHDN MyInvois portal directly from Zoho Books. Ensure compliance with just a one-click.


Creating an Invoice

  1. Navigate to "Sales" module 
  2. In the "Invoices" module, select "New" or click the + icon on the module
  3. Fill in all necessary details 
    1. Customer Name - assign the invoice to a customer 
    2. invoice number and invoice date - auto generated, to categorize the invoice in the system 
    3. salesperson - identify who is the salesperson in your company that is in contact with the client 
    4. item table - list of items and their details 
      1. details - name and description of item as stated in the "items" module 
      2. country of origin - optional, states where the item is coming from 
      3. tariff code - should the place the item is being sold needs a tariff code
      4. classification class - autofills from items module, required by LHDN to have one of the preset item classes assigned. 
      5. quantity, rate and discount - internal measures and rates of the item to be sent 
      6. tax - autofills from items module,  the tax to be applied to the item 
      7. amount - autofills, the final amount of the item in question. 
    5. fill any other details required 
    6. save in whichever method is needed by your organization

note: it is best practice to ensure an invoice is marked as "approved" before pushing to LHDN 

How to Submit an Invoice to LHDN

  1. Complete the invoice details and save the document.


  1. Press Push to MyInvois to validate the TIN and receive a QR code.
