Troubleshooting with Related lists

Introduction

Various common errors and issues with corresponding troubleshooting steps for quick reference.

How to find error message the "related lists" of a document 

  1. Navigate to the document with the error:
  2. Scroll to the table at the bottom of the document page 
  3. open the tab which says "related lists" (timestamp 00:10-00:17 seconds in the video below)

  1. Navigate to the document with the error:
  2. Scroll to the table at the bottom of the document page 
  3. open the tab which says "related lists" 
    1. Check the error (in this case it is customer TIN and registration number related)
  4. Open the customer profile by clicking on the customer name (linked in blue on the document)
  5. Edit the customer 
  6. Navigate to the "custom fields" tab 
  7. Check, edit and correct the fields as necessary, 
  8. Save the customer profile 
  9. Navigate back to the document 
  10. Double check corrections have been saved
  11. Push to MyTax portal.
